2025-2026 State Champions

Jack Marshall ’28 and John Gavenonis ’29 are state champions!
The second doubles pair delivered a dominant performance in the State Championship, earning a 6-1, 6-1 victory and helping lead the team to a state runner-up finish.

Hailey Allen ’27, Annika Jorgensen ’27, Ellie Heifetz ’26 and Allison Chi ’26 — our girls 4x800m relay team — are state champions!
At the DIAA Championship, Hailey Allen ’27, Annika Jorgensen ’27, Ellie Heifetz ’26 and Allison Chi ’26 — our girls 4x800m relay team — earned the title of State Champions. Allison Chi ’26 (800m) and Izzy Daniel ’27 (3200m) both earned runner-up finishes at the meet. Our boys 4x400m relay team of Luke Jafarieh ’27, Gaspar Ioos ’26, Fritz Conaty ’29 and Xavier Twyman ’28 also brought home bronze medals. Twyman added a third-place finish in the 400m while establishing a new school record of 49.48.


Blake Erkenbrecher ’26, Jamie Brinsfield ’26 and Annika Jorgensen ’27 are state champions!
At the DIAA Championships, Erkenbrecher won the men’s 50 free (20.77, school record), and Brinsfield captured first place in the men’s 100 free (44.71, school record). On the girls side, Jorgensen earned two state titles, winning the women’s 200 free (1:51.73) and women’s 100 free (52.01).
Brinsfield added a second-place finish in the men’s 200 free (1:39.27, school record), while Erkenbrecher placed second in the men’s 100 fly (49.64, school record).
Additional school records were set by the men’s 200 free relay (1:28.44) — Jamie Brinsfield ’26, James Henry ’27, Cohen Forman ’29 and Blake Erkenbrecher ’26 — and the men’s 400 free relay (3:16.84) — Jamie Brinsfield ’26, Gavin Daltry ’28, James Erhardt ’27 and Blake Erkenbrecher ’26 — capping an impressive championship performance for Tower Hill swimming.
For the divers, Sophie Schrei ’29 placed fifth in the state.

Madison Squire ’27 is a state champion!
At the DIAA Indoor Track & Field State Championships on Saturday, Madison won the high jump with a jump of 5' 2". The girls team placed fourth overall, marking the program’s best finish in more than 19 years.
Two new school records were also set. The girls 4x200 relay — Kennedy Haskins ’26, Danielle Soleye ’26, Cayley Malone ’27 and Madison Squire ’27 — ran a 1:50.01. The boys 4x400 relay — Xavier Twyman ’28, Tate Poff ’26, George Peddrick ’26 and Ryan Coyne ’26 — set a new school record with a time of 3:32.66.


Izzy Daniel ’27 is a state champion!
Izzy won the Division II DIAA Cross Country Championship in a thrilling finish—taking the title by just 0.1 seconds!
The girls team worked hard all season and finished sixth in the state, while the boys team capped off a season of dedication and steady improvement.


The 2025 volleyball team is Delaware's state champion!
The Hillers defeated St. Mark’s 3–0 (25–21, 25–21, 25–21) to capture the 2025 DIAA Girls Volleyball State Championship. The team's attack was firing from all angles—from aces to kills to crafty plays in the middle—as the team came together for a confident, composed and dominant performance.
Tower Hill never dropped a set throughout the entire state tournament. The program has now won three of the past four state championships. Congratulations, Tower Hill volleyball!
